The INF card (International Naturist Federation) is the international naturism membership document. It is not compulsory everywhere, but at many European campsites — especially in Italy, Germany, Austria and Croatia — it is required at the gate or earns a price discount.
What it actually is
It is a laminated card (physical or digital, depending on the federation) that certifies you are a member of a naturist federation affiliated with INF. It has a photo, your name and an expiry date. Many campsites scan it at the gate as an additional identity document.
How to get one in the UK
In the UK you get it through British Naturism (britishnaturism.org.uk). The process is straightforward: fill in the membership form online, pay the annual fee (around £35–45 for an adult, less for under-18s and seniors), and receive a physical or digital card. The fee includes insurance and the member magazine.
How to get one in other countries
Each country has its own INF-affiliated federation. The main ones are: FFN for France (ffn-naturisme.com), DFK for Germany (dfk.org), FENAIT for Italy (fenait.org), FEN for Spain (naturismo.org). All have an online sign-up process.
What if I am not a member of a local federation?
If you are in a country without an INF federation, or want the card before completing a local membership, many campsites sell a day or week pass at the gate — at a slightly higher price. This option does not give the full benefits of annual membership (insurance, magazine, partner discounts) but lets you access the campsite.
How much do I save with the card?
It varies by campsite. Some apply a 5–15% discount on the pitch price, others give free entry for members' children, and some have fixed member rates below the standard tariff. On average, over a two-week holiday the card pays for itself comfortably.
Is it needed for beaches too?
No. Naturist beaches — whether official or tolerated — are accessible to everyone without a card. The INF card is only required by affiliated campsites and some private facilities.
